You need a large supply of MLM email leads and prospects to be successful in your network marketing business. Without MLM email leads, you don't have anyone to share your opportunity with. And unless your family is huge and and you have thousands of friends, you'll go through them pretty fast and won't have anyone else to talk to and your business won't grow.

And if you're going to rely on your family and friends, you've got to be comfortable trying to sell them on your business idea, even if you know they're not interested. I wasn't and I'm sure many of you feel the same way.

I wasn't comfortable approaching family and friends about a network marketing business opportunity that they may not have any interest in at all. I didn't want them thinking I was trying to sell them something or talk them into a business they didn't want. Just because I was excited about the business and the income possibilities, doesn't meant they were. In fact, they probably thought I was nuts. I didn't get to the point of friends not taking my phone calls, but I didn't want to get there either. After all, I still wanted them as friends and family.

Instead of trying to sell them, I gave them some information about my opportunity and followed up a few days later, but I wasn't trying to close a deal with them. If they were interested, great. If they weren't that was okay too because I was sorting not selling.

But here's the problem. I needed thousands of people to talk to. After looking at the numbers and the percentage of people that are interested in going into some kind of MLM or network marketing business, I didn't know enough people to achieve the growth that I wanted in my business. The numbers didn't add up for me, and I'm sure you've felt that way in your business.

Explosive growth of your business can only be achieved if you have an endless supply of MLM email leads who are interested in network marketing. And you've got to have a lot of them. Success in MLM is a numbers game... it's showing your opportunity to as many interested people as possible and let them self select into your business. You need thousands of leads and they need to be good leads.

What are Good MLM Email Leads?

An MLM lead is a name and email address of someone who at sometime expressed some kind of interest in network marketing. It doesn't mean they're interested now or that they are looking for a business opportunity. It just means that they might be interested. Remember, most people you talk, even MLM email leads probably don't care about your opportunity, compensation plan or anything else about your business.

If they give you some time on the phone, it's because they have a problem they want solved or a need they want fulfilled.

Some leads are better than others depending on what interest the person expressed in network marketing and and how recently it was done. It also matters how many other network marketers are calling the same lead.

Do a search online and you'll find hundreds of companies who claim they can sell you MLM leads. But even these leads may not be very valuable and I'm sure that if you're buying them and calling on them, so are a lot of other network marketers. In fact, some MLM lead providers sell the same names over and over again so those lists become stale pretty quickly and the lists may be dated.

If you choose to buy MLM leads, look for a company that has done business with someone you know in the business... maybe someone in your upline who's had success with the lists. Ask for a referral that you can check with to validate their claims and to find out if the list was a good one. Ask the company where the leads came from. Look for opt-in lists where the leads are generated by someone who completed an online form asking for information about network marketing or home based businesses.

There are other questions to ask about the MLM email leads you're buying. Ask them if they re-sell their leads to other MLM marketers? How many times has the lead been sold? How long ago? How recently was the lead acquired?

Remember too, that getting the lead is just the first part of being successful in network marketing. You still need to convert them into customers or business partners before you'll see any income from them.

You may have great success buying MLM email leads and calling on them, but there is a better way to generate a higher quality leads and to qualify them as prospects before you ever actually speak with them.

The Best Kind of MLM Email Leads

The best kind of MLM email leads for your business don't come from lists that you purchased or rented. They are the ones that you or your network marketing lead generation system has generated for your own network marketing business.

These are the most likely people to be interested in your product or opportunity because they requested information directly from YOU. THEY ARE COMING TO YOU asking you for more information... they're already one step away from saying yes! sign me up.

So how do you generate your own leads. First you need a lead generation system... a way to gather contact information from people who are already looking for the information you have to provide.

Second, you need to qualify them. Being qualified means that they are interested in what you're offering, have probably ordered things from you before, and may want to learn more about your MLM opportunity. An MLM lead becomes a prospect when they've qualified themselves by asking you for more information from YOU. They've expressed a higher level of interest on what YOU are offering than a simple lead, and because of this an MLM prospect that you've qualified will be easier to convert than a lead.

That's why you want to leverage your time by automatically generating leads and qualifying them so that you can spend your valuable time in the most efficient and effective way possible to grow your business. That is spending your time sharing your business opportunity with qualified prospects who are much more likely to become customers or business partners than leads, or friends and family members that may have no interest.
