Use of the Internet to market both online and offline businesses is getting more popular every day.  Businesses all over the world are using the Internet to market and grow their business. Unfortunately, until recently, MLM companies have been slow to adopt the Internet as a way to grow their business.  That is slowly changing as the MLM and network marketing companies are starting to see the benefits from from marketing your MLM opportunity on the Internet. For most, however, the methods they use and those they expect their distributors to use do not take advantage of the power of the Internet for their MLM Network Marketing Opportunity.

Getting into network marketing has never been easier nor more popular. When the economy is down, many people look for a second income. Many want something else should they lose their primary job. I know that's my case. I'm in education and for the past three years, I've been threatened with lay off notices. I want to have options if I should lose my job and having a web business or network marketing business is a viable alternative for me. Marketing your MLM opportunity on the Internet is something that anyone can do from home and be successful. It's becoming a necessity.

No Geographical Boundaries

My network marketing company, like many others, has no boundaries for where I can build my business. I can even build the business in over 20 countries and that number is growing as my company is expanding in to Latin America and Asia. The problem is that as much as I would love to build my business internationally, I don't know very many people in Latin America or Asia or other countries.

I live in a small town in Northern California. It's a hundred and ten mile drive to Sacramento, the largest nearby town and over 250 miles to San Francisco. There aren't a lot of job opportunities nor is their a large base of potential customers or business partners. That's one of the great things about using the Internet to market your MLM network marketing opportunity. My website is seen by thousands of people from all over the world!

I've built several websites and when I study the statistics about who and how many people are visiting my site, I'm amazed at the reach it has. My little website created in Chico, Ca is visited by people from all over the world… from over 186 countries so far this month. Here's an example.

One of my websites, GuidesandTutorials.com has been visited by almost 2,000 visitors a day from over 186 countries so far this month. Here's the list and a graphic that shows the percentage of visits from each country. I couldn't begin to talk to this many people each day about my products or my network marketing business opportunity. But by using the Internet for marketing, I can reach thousands of people every day, way more than I could call in my own hometown. The Internet lets me present my MLM opportunity to people from all over the world! This graphic shows the top 30 of the 186 countries from which people have visited my website so far this month.

This next graphic shows the percentage of visitors from foreign countries. I am allowed to build my network marketing business in many of the countries that are listed and when my company expands into Latin America and Asia, I'll have even more countries where I can build my business organization. I will truly have an International business, yet I'm doing it all from a small community in Northern California. There is no way that I could build a business like this without the Internet.

Marketing Costs are Less Expensive and Have Wider Reach

The total cost of my website is about $300 per year for the domain and web hosting. I use email autoresponders to share information about my opportunity and to pre-qualify prospects. It reaches a huge audience... much larger than I could reach using traditional MLM marketing methods.

More people learn about my business products and opportunity every day from my website than I could reach in a year using traditional MLM methods, and I do it at a far lower cost than driving to meetings, or mailing out flyers and DVDs to prospects.

My marketing costs are far less expensive via the Internet and it has a far greater reach than I could possibly achieve through any other method.

Building Your Business on the Internet Saves Time

Using the Internet give me leverage. It helps me to use my time more effectively and more efficiently and focus on the tasks and activities that bring the biggest bang to my business.

Instead of spending time with prospects or leads that aren't interested in my business, my website makes my business presentations for me and I spend my time focusing only on building relationships and answering questions for people who are interested in my business opportunity.

In addition to my website, there are other Internet technologies such as email, blogs, articles, etc. that enable me to market my MLM network marketing opportunity inexpensively.

Business is Less Intrusive Being Online

One of the most important benefits about marketing your MLM opportunity on the Internet is that it takes the pressure off you and your prospect. You're no longer chasing down and pursuing your friends and family to get them into your business. Instead you're responding to people who are coming to you to find out about your business because they're already interested in some kind of a business opportunity.

This makes your marketing much less intrusive. Visitors found you and your website because they searched for the information you're are providing. They want the information. How different is that from intruding on people who have no interest in what you're offering?

It also makes conducting a network marketing business much more enjoyable because instead of being viewed as an irritant to those who aren't interested in what you are offering, you're now perceived as a problem solver and information provider to those who searched found you. You have the opportunity to become a consultant to your prospects helping to solve their problems and providing them with the information they've been seeking. That is a far more enjoyable way to do business and one that you'll stay motivated to continue.
